The short version

This website belongs to Distinctive Dental Care of Bloomingdale LLC, doing business as Serenity Dental of Bloomingdale. It exists to tell you about our office, help you request a visit, and answer common dental questions in plain language. By using the site you agree to the terms below. They are written to be read, not skimmed, but if anything is unclear, call us and a person will explain it.

1. The website is information, not dental advice

Articles, service pages, cost guides, and answers on this site are general education. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for an exam by a licensed dentist who can see your teeth and your history. Reading the site or sending us a form does not make you a patient of the practice and does not create a dentist-patient relationship; that begins at your first visit, after you have completed our intake forms.

Cost figures on the site are Chicago-area reference ranges compiled from regional fee data. They are not quotes. Your fee depends on exam findings, materials, and your benefits, and we provide a written, itemized estimate before treatment begins.

If you have a dental emergency, do not rely on this website. Call us at (630) 359-0105 during office hours. For severe swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, or an injury to the face or jaw, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

2. Appointment requests and online forms

A request is not a confirmed appointment. When you submit a request or book through our online scheduling tool, your visit is confirmed only when our team contacts you to confirm the date and time.
Keep forms simple. Website forms and email are for scheduling and general questions. Please do not send detailed medical history, insurance identifiers, or payment card numbers through them; we will collect what we need securely at the office or by phone.
Accurate information. You agree to give us accurate contact details and to tell us if they change.
How we reply. By submitting a request you agree that we may contact you about it by phone, email, or text message at the details you provided. Message and data rates may apply to texts; reply STOP to any text to opt out.
Online scheduling. Our online booking tool is provided by a third-party vendor. Its own terms and privacy policy apply to the information you enter there.

3. Offers, promotions, and pricing

Promotional offers on this site are subject to the conditions stated with each offer, may require an exam and any necessary x-rays first, cannot be combined with other offers or with insurance benefits unless the offer says so, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice. An offer describes a price for a defined service in a standard case; if your exam shows that a different or additional service is needed, we will tell you before anything is scheduled.

Where this site lists a package price, the package covers only the items described for it. Related procedures that your case may need are estimated separately and in writing.

4. Insurance and payment

Accepting an insurance plan means we will submit claims to it and work with its fee schedule. It is not a promise that any particular service is covered. Coverage, deductibles, annual maximums, and waiting periods are set by your plan, and you are responsible for amounts your plan does not pay. We verify benefits before treatment so your estimated share is known in advance, and we will tell you when a verified amount differs from what the plan later pays.

5. Third-party financing

We list third-party financing companies for your convenience only. We do not endorse one over another, and whether to apply, and with whom, is your decision. Each company is independent; applications, approval decisions, interest rates, fees, and repayment terms are set and administered by that company, not by our practice. We are not a lender, broker, or financial advisor and do not give financial advice. Review each company's terms and privacy policy before applying.

6. Reviews, testimonials, and photos

Reviews and testimonials shown on this site are the opinions of the people who wrote them, reproduced from public platforms such as Google. They describe individual experiences; results depend on each person's health, habits, and treatment, and one patient's outcome is not a prediction of yours. Before-and-after photos are shared with the patient's consent and show the specific case pictured.

7. Our content and your use of it

The text, photographs, illustrations, logo, and design of this site belong to Distinctive Dental Care of Bloomingdale LLC or are used under license. You may read, print, and share links to pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy articles or images for another website or publication, use the Serenity Dental name or logo without written permission, or use automated tools to scrape the site in bulk.

You also agree not to interfere with the site's operation, attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to use, submit false information, or use the site for anything unlawful.

8. Links and tools from other companies

This site links to and embeds services from other companies, including Google Maps and Google reviews, our online scheduling tool, financing partners, and analytics providers. We do not control those services, and their terms and privacy policies govern your use of them. A link is not an endorsement.

9. Privacy and health information

How we handle information collected through this website is described in our Privacy Policy. Protected health information you share with us as a patient is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA, which we provide at your first visit and on request. Our Accessibility statement explains how to reach us if any part of the site is hard to use.

10. No warranty for the website; limits on liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is." We do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or current at every moment, and we may change or remove content at any time. To the fullest extent Illinois law allows, Distinctive Dental Care of Bloomingdale LLC is not liable for losses that arise from using, or being unable to use, this website or the third-party services linked from it.

These terms are about the website. Nothing in them limits the duties we owe you as a patient under Illinois law once you are receiving care at our office, and nothing in them limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

When we update these terms we will change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. For a significant change we will also post a notice on the site for a reasonable period.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the website will be heard in the state or federal courts located in DuPage County, Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
