How All-on-4 works
Four implants — two vertical in the front, two angled 45° in the back — support a full-arch fixed bridge. The rear angulation reaches denser anterior bone, eliminating the bone grafting that traditional full-arch implants require in most patients.
The 45° posterior angulation reaches denser bone and avoids sinus proximity — eliminating bone grafting in most patients.
The All-on-4 procedure
From consultation to final bridge — what to expect at each step.
CBCT scan + consultation
3D imaging maps your bone anatomy, sinus position, and nerve pathways. Dr. Khan determines implant placement positions and whether bone grafting is needed — most All-on-4 patients do not need it.
Treatment planning + estimate
A written treatment plan and cost estimate are provided before anything is scheduled. You review the proposed approach, timeline, financing options, and what to expect at each phase.
Surgery day — extractions + implants
Remaining failing teeth are extracted. Four implants per arch are placed using the planned angulations. A temporary fixed bridge is attached to the implants before you leave. You go home with functional teeth the same day.
Integration (3–6 months)
The implants fuse with the surrounding bone — osseointegration. You wear the temporary bridge and follow a soft diet. Follow-up visits monitor healing. Most patients return to normal activity within a week of surgery.
Final prosthetic placement
Once integration is confirmed on imaging, the temporary bridge is replaced with the final permanent restoration — typically a zirconia or hybrid bridge. Bite is refined. Care instructions and maintenance schedule are finalized.

Are you a candidate?
All-on-4 is designed for patients who are missing most or all teeth in one or both arches, or who have teeth so compromised by decay, gum disease, or trauma that extraction is the appropriate path forward.
The clinical advantage of the angled posterior implant design is that it reaches areas of denser anterior bone — making many patients who lack sufficient posterior bone volume eligible without bone grafting. A CBCT scan at your consultation provides the exact bone measurements needed to confirm.
Serving Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights, Carol Stream, Addison, Schaumburg, and surrounding DuPage County communities.
Typical All-on-4 candidates
- ✓Missing most or all teeth in one or both arches
- ✓Failing teeth requiring full extraction
- ✓Current denture wearer seeking a fixed solution
